Sarah Wenig is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and is the founder of New York Nutrition, LLC. She has over a decade of experience in the health and wellness industry having worked as a certified Pilates instructor and health coach before becoming a dietitian. Sarah specializes in performance nutrition and helps her clients reach their goals through a non-diet approach.
Her philosophy is this: An intuitive eating approach to nutrition that combines functional wellness with meaningful lifestyle changes. Sarah has extensive training in medical nutrition therapy. She helps clients manage chronic diseases and health issues through dietary and lifestyle interventions.
She is experienced in intuitive eating, gut health, IBD, including Crohn's disease and colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, PCOS and other hormone imbalances, autoimmune disorders, heart health, allergies and intolerances, glucose regulation, and sports nutrition.
As a sports dietitian, Sarah has worked with the Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, New Jersey Devils, as well as players in the NFL. Prior to this, she worked with the football and basketball teams at Rutgers University, an NCAA Division I school in the Big Ten Conference. On the corporate side, Sarah has helped large companies educate employees on nutrition strategies that fit their busy schedules.
Sarah completed her Didactic Program in Dietetics at New York University and holds a dual master’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Columbia University.
